ニルヴァーナのカートコバーンは何度か自殺未遂をしている。
娘が生まれたての病院で、自分の娘と嫁と無理心中を試みたり、
ロヒを60錠飲んで自殺しようとしている。
ロヒは日本では処方箋薬だが、アメリカでは非合法だ。
古いイソブロ、ベゲ等のバルビ系と違い、ロヒは死ににくい。
ロヒより強力なベゲAでも60錠じゃ死ねない。
では何でアメリカでは非合法というかは、
無味無臭で水分に溶けても解りづらい。
その上、強力だからだ。
この性質をいかしてレイプに使われまくったからだ。
日本の処方箋薬で死ねるとしたら、イソミタール位だろうか。
アメリカは分からんが。
そう言えばひぐらしにも出てきた睡眠薬だ。
耐性が付いていると、寝れる量と致死量が近い。
といっても、2gで死ねるかどうか、
10gは飲まないと生き残って後遺症が出るだろう。
でもって、0.2gが1日分のMAX処方量だ。
最大2週間分しかくれない。ベゲAでも2錠を4週間分出すというのにだ。
それだけ危険だと言うことだろう。
ロヒは多分、ダウナーな気持ちを感じるために、
常用していたのだろう。
本人も60錠位で死ねると思っていたとは考えられない。
耐性が付いていたら10錠飲んでも何ともない。
まあ、寝てる間に体温が下がって凍死する事はあるかも知れないが。
色々多用していた薬の中にロヒがあったに過ぎないと推測する。
ニルヴァーナの曲を聞いているとダウナーが多い。
現実逃避のために、ロヒや酒や他の薬をやって、
ステージの上に立つためにアッパーをやる。
そんな生活だったのではないだろうか。
